*One of our traditions has become to make homemade pizza for New Year's Eve. I feel this started pretty soon after our marriage, as we would put on one of the Lord of the Rings extended editions while we made pizza and drank sparkling grape juice.
We took some years off with moves and sickness and such, but we've done it most of the past few years. This year we're making 6 pizzas (one breadstick, one cheese, one pepperoni, one hamburger and caramelized onion, one prosciutto and arugula, one catch all) and also cream puffs. These are something my dad requests every year for Christmas but we've finally convinced him we have enough treats that day and have moved them to the New Year.
