*We are spending the day getting ready for 3 house guests (here until the 2nd) and the pizza party tonight. The Son is helping with one kitchen task an hour; so far we've cooked the ground beef for one pizza and made cream puffs. I'm trying to wash the dishes as we make them to keep up rather than having a huge pile to conquer tonight. Next up is removing the cream puff innards and making a ganache to put on top of them. My dad has been mentioning ganache A LOT so I thought I would surprise him with some tonight.
*I don't do a lot with new year resolutions right now; each year seems to bring its own trials, so I try to take whatever comes and deal with it. I suppose this is part of radical acceptance, which I seem to have stumbled into the last few years. It does help me spend less time on what ifs or if onlys.
