Wednesday the 23rd: Food of the Week

 *Sunday we had wood grilled salmon, rice a roni, and salad (top picture). The salmon was really tasty; I bought both Norwegian and Atlantic salmon from Aldi, and the cheaper (Atlantic) was actually tastier.

*Monday I didn't cook. I planned to do Oktoberfest, but I had musical practice that ran long so we had Chik-Fil-A. I did a market salad and a banana pudding milkshake.

*Tuesday I made the Oktoberfest (bottom picture): coined and browned brats, boiled small potatoes with butter and parsley and dill, and sauerkraut with apple and onion. Cucumbers and pickles too. It was delicious but the potatoes needed maybe 2 more minutes.

*Tonight (Wednesday) I am making Hamburger Stew; perfect timing because the weather is cooling again today. Besides a salad kit later this week I'm done cooking.
